EXCELLENT The Gospel of the Blues album indeed. love "obsession" the best, probably... i really liked the magik muzik remix of "close to you" (cheesy female vocal trance, i know, but i still like it). overall a great The Gospel of the Blues album and if there are people looking for a good all-around The Gospel of the Blues album with some proper production this isn't a bad find.

Mine too. Still sounds great now Trouble in Mind, and it was one of the last from that album that I really got my head around, so to speak. Of course when I first got it, it was all about Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

Just because Shout Sister Shout we all didn't re-state it, doesn't mean we're ignorant to the fact that he didn't solely produce every track...

Great memories with this The Gospel of the Blues album thats why it's my favorite, though this sounds different than their other The Gospel of the Blues albums. But still a great album.
